We are looking for a Community and Social Services Manager to join our multi-disciplinary team to provide services and administration support for a range of programs. This position entails supervision of programs that support the well being of youth and adults referred through other community agencies . The Community and Social Services Manager would use family-centered, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed approaches to provide assessment, intervention, consultation and monitoring.
Wage: $35.64-$41.56
The position is permanent full-time.

- Provide administrative support for intake, service planning (including individual service plans) and discharge
- Professional practice leadership and ensuring every client served has confidential client/file management and an individual service plan, consent for services and required documentation
- Regular progress reports, discharge reports, referral to other services and outcomes and evaluation of the services received
- Including case management of service coordination and facilitation of integrated services
- Assessing and adapting services to respect cultural background of the individual and/or family
- Setting program and service goals and targeted outcomes in cooperation with the Executive Director
- Carry a small caseload and provide coverage as needed
- Staff supervision, performance evaluation and contract management
- Program budget management
- Delivery of contract outputs and outcomes
- Recruitment, including interviewing and selecting of candidates for vacant or new positions
- Follow the Centre policies and procedures
- Identify required resources to meet program and service goals
- Participate in accreditation process
- A baccalaureate degree in social work, child and youth care or other related fields of study
- Ability to use professional ethical frameworks (such as social work) to guide practice of interpersonal and team skills
- Experience in recruiting and supervising employees
- In depth knowledge of community services and resources for children, youth and families
- Knowledge of early intervention and/or child development fields
- Knowledge of outcomes and accountability measurement
- Knowledge and understanding of mental health impacts
- Current Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle for work use, preferred
- Completed criminal record check
- Available Monday to Friday, and be able to work flexible hours as needed
