Community Safety Officer add
Job description:
The Community Safety Officer is responsible for keeping peace in the community, assisting residents with issues, and responding to calls within the community
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Patrolling Saugeen First Nations Band 29
- Responding to calls within the community
- Perform field investigations
- Perform periodic foot and mobile patrols
- Assisting members of the community
- Updating various reports and logs
The selected candidate will need to possess the following attributes:
- Computer proficiency and familiarity with Android tablets
- Keen attention to detail
- Confidence to make on the fly decisions
- The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- G2/G class license with clean drivers history and no at-fault claims
- Valid First Aid and CPR
Education and Experience
- Must be 18 years of age
- Completed Police Foundations or similar law enforcement experience, would be an asset
- Clean criminal background and vulnerable sectors check
- Must be legal to work in Canada
- Own or have access to vehicle
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficient in English communication

Expected hours: 40 per week
