,Concrete Construction Labourer
Job Summary:
Marshall Construction is seeking an experienced Concrete Construction laborer to assist in the construction of concrete structures by performing various tasks such as mixing and pouring concrete, smoothing and finishing surfaces, setting up forms. You will also assist in the installation of reinforcement materials such as rebar and mesh. You will typically work under the supervision of skilled tradespeople like concrete finishers, and you must adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites for concrete work, setup forms, strip form
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging trenches, pouring concrete
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete various tasks related to concrete work
- Assist carpenters with form-work installation and removal
- Apply caulk and sealants to ensure proper waterproofing
- Perform concrete finishing techniques such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing
- Restore and renovate existing concrete structures as required, must be able to use hand and power tools
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a concrete laborer or in a similar construction role is preferred, must be able to perform hard task with hands, must be able to kneel, bend, lift heavy materials, and measure correctly and read specifications.
- Knowledge of Concrete Construction techniques and materials
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for various construction tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse team of construction professionals
Note: Will perform other duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
