Experienced Concrete Finishers – Full Time Permanent

Concrete Finishers wanted to start immediately, individuals to join and grow with our company.

Iceland Concrete has specialized in all types of concrete projects in industrial, commercial and Energy including a long-term project at the largest project in Saskatchewan.

Qualifications & Duties:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in concrete finishing

Knowledge of power and hand tools

Work with project team to execute the project efficiently and productively

Communicate directly with supervisors

Expectations:

Must be willing to work long hours during busy seasons

Capable of and willing to perform heavy manual labour

Capable of and willing to work in hot, dusty, or cold conditions

Must be a team player, as well as possess the ability to work independently

Essential Skills

- Working with others

- Problem solving

-Ability to work unsupervised

Specific Skills

Walk behind trowels

- Ride on trowels

- Finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools

- Manual and Vibe screening experience

- Somero laser screen experience (Fully qualified)

- Floor finishing, leveling, pouring

- Slab Cutting

Position Requirements:

Valid driver’s license

Must have personal transportation.

Must speak English.

Applicants must pass a Canadian criminal check and provide a negative drug and alcohol screening.

Salary:

Starting wage is to be determined based on experience, with opportunity for growth. Industry competitive wages including incentives for the BHP site.

Salary: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
