Condo Building Cleaner

VSL Contractors is looking for a Cleaner to step into a cleaning position in a condominium setting. A reliable candidate is necessary to clean and maintain the general/common areas for a condominium building.

Responsibilities:

• Perform light cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Ensure the cleanliness of common areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms, with particular attention to high-touch surfaces.
• Regularly clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and equipment following established health protocols.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas, following proper waste management procedures.
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels while maintaining inventory levels.
• Follow all required health processes and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and using approved cleaning agents.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while performing cleaning tasks, ensuring a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Promptly report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Building Cleaner or in a similar role.
• Ability to work full-time hours, Monday to Friday
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timelines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to complete a criminal background check
• Ability to adhere to all required health processes and guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of residents and staff
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Monday to Friday – 30-40 hours a week

Hourly rate is currently $19/hr+ based on experience.

Experience:

• cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
