- 1. Overall Integration Leadership:
- Act as the driving force behind the integration process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business goals.
- Serve as an "activist" to challenge the status quo, identify risks and bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Assume leadership of governance structure & promote an agile team environment
- 2. Timeline Management:
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, outlining all activities, milestones, and dependencies.
- Monitor timelines rigorously, proactively identifying and addressing potential delays.
- Implement best practices tools, templates, and processes
- 3. Interdepartmental Coordination:
- Collaborate with Project Managers across multiple workstreams, including Operations, Finance, IT, Commercial Sales, ERP, Procurement, Strategy, Marketing, and Communications.
- Manage interdependencies and ensure seamless communication between different functional areas.
- 4. Specific Workstream Oversight:
- Oversee critical activities such as plant consolidations, ERP integration, and migration from SAP 3.1 to Microsoft D365 for Finance and Operations.
- Provide expert guidance on D365 implementation, actively participating in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Plan and lead implementation plans for master data migration, including customer set-up, item set-up, equipment configuration, plant/plant migration to D365
- 5. Stakeholder Communication:
- Report regularly to the leadership team, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and key milestones.
- Act as a liaison between project teams and leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- 6. ERP Expertise:
- Roll up your sleeves to provide hands-on guidance on D365 implementation, leveraging your expertise to troubleshoot issues and guide the team through challenges.
- 7. Training Leadership:
- Support and lead training initiatives for new team members on Microsoft D365 for Finance and Operations.
- Develop training materials and documentation, ensuring the smooth onboarding of new staff into the D365 environment.
- 8. Change Management Facilitation:
- Work closely with the Change Management team to facilitate initiatives aimed at ensuring a smooth transition for all employees affected by the acquisition.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to address resistance and foster a positive attitude towards the integration.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in acquisition integration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, especially Microsoft D365 for Finance and Operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to challenge the status quo and drive change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of business functions, including Operations, Finance, IT, and Marketing.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Previous experience with SAP to D365 migrations is highly desirable.
