SalaryCanadian Technical Solutions Inc is a busy manufacturing company in Ayton, Ontario, that builds High Quality, Luxury Trailers for the film industry. We are currently looking to grow our team with dedicated and experienced Construction Assembler, focusing on Electrical and Plumbing Rough-in. The ability to grow with our company awaits you. Builds are preformed inside large shops, so you are protected from the elements.
If you have previous experience wiring buildings, or running plumbing for buildings, this would be a position for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- assist with builds focusing on electrical and plumbing rough-in
- running wire and plumbing lines in open cavity walls and ceilings
- assist with preparing the mechanical room area
- also assisting in other areas; including carpentry, framing, trim and cabinetry
- interpret and analyze blueprints and designs
- maintain and organize tools, equipment and materials for efficient workflow
- follow directions from supervisors and other skilled team members
- operate a variety of power tools
- work with a high level of quality workmanship
- perform trailer clean up before final inspection and delivery to customer
- be ready to learn from on-the-job training
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with electrical and plumbing rough-in
- Experience in the construction industry
- Solid understanding of electrical and plumbing principles and procedures
- Proficiency in using power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in all tasks
- Eager to learn new skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Willing to adhere to safety protocols and regulations
- strong physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting
