Position: Construction Helper

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $27.50 per hour
Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Surrey, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland (BC) area as per the company’s work contracts with its clients.
Position duties:
- Assist skilled tradesmen in their activities at construction sites and provide equipment, supplies, and other required materials to them as required.
- Prepare the construction site by cleaning obstacles and hazards to maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Move materials to work sites and load and unload construction supplies.
- Put up and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades at construction sites
- Mix, pour, and spread construction materials.
- Remove rubble and debris from the work site.
- Clean work areas, machines, and equipment, and store construction tools at the designated area of work sites at the end of the shift.
Position requirements:
- Some work experience as a construction laborer would be an asset.
- Candidates should be willing to work outdoors, indoors, and in all weather conditions.
Note:
- If any of the current employee of Phoenix Construction Systems Ltd. makes a referral that results in to hire, the company will pay $500 referral to that employee.
- Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1500.00 for qualified candidates.
