Construction Layout Surveyor

B&B Contracting is seeking an experienced Construction Layout Surveyor to join our growing company. B&B is a union-affiliated employer that puts a strong emphasis on safety and offers highly competitive compensation and benefits.

Pay per hour will be dependent on experience.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The job duties performed by the Construction Layout Surveyor include but are not limited to:

• Interpreting engineering drawings
• Providing initial site layout and ongoing monitoring
• Performing layout of subdivision roads & lots and access roads
• Performing topographic surveys of original ground, post-stripping, as-built, and stockpiles
• Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Minimum of two years' prior work experience in Construction Layout
• Experience with using both total stations and GPS systems
• Ability to pay close attention to details
• Access to own reliable transportation
• Post-secondary education in Survey Engineering or Civil Engineering considered an asset

Salary: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
