Construction Project Coordinator

Interior Elite Contracting is looking for a Project Coordinator to add to our team! As a Project Coordinator, you will be working side by side with the Project Managers, the client and the construction team to navigate through the entire project cycle.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in overall construction coordination, planning and identifying potential risks and resolving field technical issues.
• Researching if any Safety Protocols need to be implemented, or are required on site and coordinate with the Safety Officer to meet these requirements.
• Help coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion.
• Recover information needed for quotes to be established (pre-quoting)
• Assist Project Managers in the quoting stage if needed.
• Invoice all jobs upon completion.
• Review project designs and keep a detailed record of all client selections.
• Keep record of all quotes, and follow up on outstanding items utilizing the existing spreadsheets.
• Request all call before you dig and locates (as necessary) for excavating projects
• Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner.
• Facilitate communications between office and field staff.
• Track and directly report project status updates to project manager.
• Help problem solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project.
• Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents.
• Enter information into and manage the digital project databases.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with necessary specifications.
• Coordinate and execute daily administrative tasks.
• Assisting with change management and change order process, including pricing, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impact.
• Schedule meetings, phone calls, site visits etc.
• Prepare and supervise all the needed documents properly throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our trade partners through activities such as answering inquiries and monitoring progress.
• Schedule walk throughs throughout a project. (Estimating, Selection, Demolition, Repair, and Completion)
• Regularly checking Bid Central, sending and tracking projects of interest.
• Creating folder for RFPQ’s
• Reviewing RFPQ’s and compile detailed project notes relating to the scope, etc.
• All information and details from RFPs should be presented to James/Bryan before assigning a PM.
• Once PM has been assigned, assisting in obtaining quotes from subtrades
• Create and maintain a spreadsheet of all subtrade scheduling
• Create and maintain suppliers and subtrade on-boarding process
• Add all Projects into the CoConstruct software

The ideal candidate will :

• Have previous project management/coordinator experience
• Be proficient in Microsoft Suite and able to adapt to customized project management software
• Be highly organized and detail-oriented
• Excel in a fast-paced work environment
• Self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills both verbally and written

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $26.00-$31.00 per hour
