SalaryJOMO Construction Services, a commercial general contracting firm operating in the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), is recruiting for Construction Site Superintendents for upcoming projects. Work will range from small jobs to complex retail, commercial or institutional assignments with values up to $3-5M. Experience with base building construction, including fitup of retail grocery outlets, would be advantageous for upcoming projects.
The Site Superintendent is responsible for the management and coordination of all on-site activities with subtrades, suppliers, client project team and local governing authorities to ensure successful and timely project completion. Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and specifications are essential, along with the capacity to manage and enforce strict safety guidelines. Basic carpentry abilities would also be beneficial in this role.
