Construction Site Supervisor

Span West Construction specializes in building safe, secure, built-to-last condominiums throughout Western Canada.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team for an upcoming project in Humboldt, SK. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Site Supervisor is responsible for managing the project on-site from start to finish, including running construction meetings, working closely with the field staff and contractors to ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently while adhering to the scope of work, and the company and/or regulatory policies and procedures. They will have a solid understanding of construction processes, excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety and quality.

What you bring:

• An experienced Site Super with proven success with;

- meeting construction deliverables

- supervision & site management

- safety compliance

- leadership

- scheduling

- inspections and quality checks

- reporting & communication

• 5+ years in construction, preferably working on multi-family residential/high rise concrete construction
• Be a highly skilled carpenter (red seal carpenter or equivalent)
• Able to read construction working drawings including and not limited to architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical and landscape drawings
• Up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, building materials and building processes
• A seasoned problem solver
• Be highly organized, as well as your site
• Have competent computer (and phone) skills – experience working with construction management software packages and basic Microsoft Office and Google software
