Consumer Credit Associate - Vancouver, Bc.

Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent Consumer Credit Associate to work full-time for our client, this position is remote and requires flexibility in working hours.  Our client provides indirect vehicle financing and leasing solutions to consumers and commercial customers.  
This position involves the purchase of sales finance contracts from franchise automobile dealerships. An analysis is done to determine whether the loan applicant meets acceptable underwriting standards. Underwriting is done using an automated credit system..

Location: Vancouver, BC - Remote
Shift: Monday to Saturday: 8am-9pm PST.  Flexibility required.

Salary: 50-60 k annual+ perks/benefits and bonus.
Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Review and make appropriate decisions on loan applications that meet acceptable underwriting standards, while maintaining a high level of service to Internal and External customers

• Ability to balance the demands of Production, Sales Support, Risk, and Quality Assessments as established

• Build and maintain a proactive relationship with automobile dealers

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with peers and BDMs

• Provide backup support for team members and assist the Special Credit team with Funding issues

• Bilingual French/English is preferred but not required 

• Hours of operations are Monday to Saturday: 8am-9pm PST.  Flexibility required.  

Qualifications

• Two (2) to five (5) years of Credit Analyst experience or a combination of education and/or experience

• Funding knowledge, thorough knowledge of the credit review process as well as knowledge of credit scoring

• High school diploma required

• College degree preferred

• Thorough knowledge of credit analysis and loan documentation

• Strong communications skills – oral and written

• Intermediate to advanced user experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Self-starter with excellent time management skills

• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills

• Coaching and feedback skills

• Bi-lingual French/English is an asset
