Job description

As a Marketing expert for Everything Mortgages, you will do more than simply contribute - you will be the forerunner for our digital identity. We are searching for an individual with charisma, a natural talent for crafting narratives, and the capacity to consistently produce captivating, shareable content that deeply connects with our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, with a particular focus on content creation for social media and digital marketing.
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising.
  • Take ownership of the content creation process, from ideation to execution. Create engaging content, including copy, graphics, and videos, that resonates with our target audience and supports our overall marketing objectives.
  • Build and maintain our social media presence, ensuring consistency of messaging and branding across all channels.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for content creation and improve marketing performance.
  • Use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to track and analyze campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on content creation and Marketing strategy, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing technologies and trends, making recommendations for new tools and strategies to enhance our content creation and distribution efforts.
  • Propose innovative ideas to build brand awareness in our local community and nationwide

Who you are:

  • You have a post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field
  • You have 1 - 2 years of progressive experience in social media marketing, content management, and brand management, preferably in a retail business
  • You have strong knowledge of all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Email Marketing)
  • You have photography, videography and editing skills, transforming raw footage into polished content
  • You have experience using data and analytics tools to track and analyze campaign performance, measure ROI, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • You have a strong knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing website content to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • You have familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator, to create visual content such as infographics, social media graphics, and banner ads.
  • You are a creative thinker and storyteller who can create diverse styles and formats • You are comfortable in front of and behind the camera
  • You have strong time management, can handle multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality
  • You are a collaborative team player with strong communication skills
  • You are able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer success, to align content and Marketing strategy with overall business objectives.
  • You have excellent writing skills, including grammar, punctuation and creativity
  • You have an endless curiosity as to what motivates and inspires consumers
  • You have a passion for social media, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques
  • You are passionate about brand building in the finance industry

Job Types: Part-time (with the potential to become Full-time)

Salary: $20/hr

Schedule: Monday to Friday (2 to 4 hours per day)
