Contract Administrator

Job Overview:
QM Construction is a well established heavy civil contractor with over 30 years in the industry. We perform work in all aspects of the heavy civil field, with a strong focus on municipal work, specifically the water and sewer sector. Our team is dedicated to providing quality work and value-added services to our Clients. We are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team in Saint John, NB. As a Contract Administrator your responsibilities would include:
- Provide administrative support for Owners
- Tendering: order, manage, track addenda & tender submission
- Soliciting material and equipment pricing for tenders
- Bond Management
- Insurance Management
- Preparing and Managing contracts
- Truck and Equipment permitting
- Municipal permitting

Qualifications:
- High Organization Skills
- Multitasker
- Self starter - requires minimal supervision
- Detail oriented
- Comfortable with deadlines
- Team player
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Work
- Flexible hours during peak season would be an asset

Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
