WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

In this role you will:
-Interpret fertilizer tickets to create blends.
-Load and unload containers, materials and products on trucks, or trailers by hand or by forklift truck.
-Transfer goods, organize the products received and prepare goods for shipment.
-Direct Trucks.
-Work closely with Dispatch Support.
-Direct Loader Operator.
-Complete general labour duties.
Contract Length – March 25th to June 15th and September 9th to November 1st
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

-A general knowledge and skills required to safely operate straightforward plant equipment, and/or machinery.
-A valid driver’s license, with a clean record. DZ license is an asset.
-Ability to operate skid steer, loader, and/or bob cat.
-Ability to read maps, bills of ladings, follow specific delivery directions and instructions, follow posted safety rules and safe operating procedures to ensure proper techniques are performed; write and make accurate entries in daily driving log, comprehend simple instructions.
-Conversational English skills.
-Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
-Desire to grow with the company. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn the agricultural business and grow in their career.
