Essential Duties:

· Experience managing general office/accounting at dealerships preferred

· Experience with automotive environments and service centers

· Some knowledge of asset management (land/building)

· Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization

· Deliver in-depth auto industry knowledge

· Prepare and/or review financial statements

· Act as an industry expert and technical accounting resource

· Provide consulting relative to business transactions

· Develop and lead staff as demand grows

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions

· Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities

· Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets

· Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, provincial and local regulatory laws and rules

Attributes/Skills

· BA in Accounting

· MA in Accounting or MBA

· CPA

· 5+ years experience as automotive dealership industry CFO or Controller

· Team player mindset and willingness to collaborate

· Willing to take responsibility and act independently when necessary

· Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential

· Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

· High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results

· PC proficient is essential. CDK experience is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
