Controller

Job Summary:
Performs all accounting functions such as full cycle A/P & A/R, payroll, monthly statutory and other remittances and government taxes.

Responsible for all banking functions.

Prepare reports such as bank reconciliations, monthly income statements, balance sheets, cashflow forecasts, credit/receivables management and payroll.

Reporting to Leadership Team and stakeholders as required.

Advise management on strategic matters such as effective use of resources, methods, and financial implications of projected initiatives.

Review compensation structure annually.

Review and recommend improvements to policies, systems, efficiencies and internal controls related to the accounting functions.

Analyze monthly data and explain variances between budgeted and actual results.

Create budgets and forecasts.

Provide operational sales support.

Provide control of expenditures for activities, such as advertising and marketing, labour, maintenance, or project activities.

Stay current with changes and developments in the finance and information technology industry.

Provide monthly, quarterly and ad hoc analysis and reporting.

Coordinate year-end review with external accountants.

Promote corporate culture and values.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
