We are searching for a Controller to join our exceptional management team Brampton, ON. We are a fast paced growing construction company looking for someone who is strong in finance, energetic, solutions-oriented and self motivated who wants to grow with the company and develop their skills with a great accounting team.
You will be reporting directly to the President.
Primary Responsibilities
- Management of the business financial processes and systems in compliance with company policy
- Review monthly, quarterly and Year to date Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports
- Analyze financial data
- Cash management
- Prepare financial and cash flow budgeting & forecasting
- Review cost analysis of multiple job sites
- Manage required government reporting and deadlines
- Prepare and file required bank reporting
- Manage fixed assets and equipment leases
- Prepare year end reporting to outside accountants
- Organize financing when required
- Manage accounting staff with problems and issues when they arise

- Jonas Construction software knowledge an asset
- CPA designation or close to completion required
