Controller

We are searching for a Controller to join our exceptional management team Brampton, ON. We are a fast paced growing construction company looking for someone who is strong in finance, energetic, solutions-oriented and self motivated who wants to grow with the company and develop their skills with a great accounting team.

You will be reporting directly to the President.

Primary Responsibilities

• Management of the business financial processes and systems in compliance with company policy
• Review monthly, quarterly and Year to date Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports
• Analyze financial data
• Cash management
• Prepare financial and cash flow budgeting & forecasting
• Review cost analysis of multiple job sites
• Manage required government reporting and deadlines
• Prepare and file required bank reporting
• Manage fixed assets and equipment leases
• Prepare year end reporting to outside accountants
• Organize financing when required
• Manage accounting staff with problems and issues when they arise

• Jonas Construction software knowledge an asset
• CPA designation or close to completion required
