Description:
Assist with the smooth and organized running of the Spring 2024 Convocation ceremonies. Provide leadership and direction to ushers, ensuring that guests, students, and staff have access to pertinent information. Ensure that ushers are informed of their roles and responsibilities and receive regular updates. Together with your supervisor participate in delivery of training to ushers prior to the start of the Spring 2024 Convocation ceremonies. Coordinate usher work schedules. Participate in training on emergency evacuation and fire prevention procedures.
Qualifications:
Candidates must be customer focused and service oriented with a proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels. Demonstrated ability to clearly receive, retain and transmit information. Proven organizational skills, multi-tasking, accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team. Demonstrated ability to problem solve and work under pressure.
Duration: 2 April 2024 to 10 June 2024 (inclusive) – part-time & full-time hours (weekdays only)
Minimum Education and Experience:
High School Diploma 2 Years Related Experience
Hourly Salary:
(AMUSE C) $22.50
