Cook/Housekeeper

Casual Cook/Housekeeping

Duties:

- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including kitchen and common areas
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping floors
- Cook breakfast, lunch and/or dinner depending on shift for up to 12 seniors
- Replenishing supplies such as toiletries and paper towel
- Emptying trash and recycling bins
- Cleaning windows and mirrors

- Seasonal maintenance - shovel walkways
- Adhering to health and safety regulations

Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Strong communication skills to interact with tenants and team members

Food Safe Certificate

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $18.50-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Salmon Arm, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (required)
• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required)
