Overview:
FireWorks BBQ is hiring a Cook/Kitchen helper. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality meals to our customers. If you have a passion for cooking, excellent food handling skills, and enjoy working with people, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and guidelines
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
- Ensure food is cooked and presented in accordance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service
- Follow all food safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service industry or a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Opening and closing duties
- Regular cleaning and maintaining of kitchen equipment

Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
