Your Opportunity:
Description:
Reporting directly to the Manager or Senior Advisor of Workplace Safety. This position is responsible for Qualitative and Quantitative respiratory fit testing for Alberta Health Services staff at various locations in Northern Alberta. The incumbent also will perform data entry for completed respiratory fit tests and may be required to assist with other training initiatives such as SDS database training. Training will be provided in Respiratory Fit Testing Protocol and any other initiatives the successful candidate would be involved in.

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of Grade 12. Training in Respiratory Fit Testing Protocol is considered to be an asset, but training will be considered for the right candidate. Excellent communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, demonstrate professional image, exceptional customer service ability, be a strong team player, and be flexible with ability to adapt to change. Proficiency in various computer applications. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time - up to an hour at a time. Must be able to repetitively squeeze, using a power grip. Must be able to lift arms regularly to shoulder height, and occasionally above shoulder height. Must be able to lift and carry 9.0 kg. Must be able to push up to 20 kg. Must be able to sit and type on the computer and use a mouse for extended periods of time. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required of the position.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal skills. Fast and accurate data entry skills required. Ability to perform effectively independently and in a team environment. Strong knowledge of computer systems and applications, specifically Microsoft Office, database management. Ability to work quickly and independently. Analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to post-secondary students.
