Corporate Application Specialist - Cas

CGI is seeking a Business Analyst to join our corporate Global Business services team located in downtown Montreal.
The PCB Business Analyst supports the Global Business Services (GBS) Application and the GBS Operations teams with functional, technical and process support. Additionally, they are responsible for implementing initiatives and automations related to business processes and systems, based on the priorities that CGI have made. Initiatives may be strategic, tactical, or operational.
The CAS contributes by analyzing, designing, maintaining and improving business processes. They also take care of the implementation and testing of these in supporting applications.
The CAS is working in a continuously changing, challenging and international environment and this role require a close communication and interaction with multiple internal clients around CGI worldwide.
The Business Analyst will play a key role mainly for Order to Cash (O2C) Project, Contract, Billing, (PCB)

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in business process analysis is required
• A good understanding of the Finance processes is required
• Have good understanding of Finance ERP system (Peoplesoft Project costing, Contracts, Billing, GL)
• Ability to analyze, problem-solving skills and synthesize large amounts of information
• Aptitude for and interest in IT tools and high-volume data processing
• Aptitude for process designing.
• Ability to communicate with the business (internal customers) and the IT team.
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
