- Assist with due diligence on various projects.
- Legal research on a variety of matters (financing, corporate governance, public procurement).
- Review and update documents in various data basis regarding wholly owned subsidiaries.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a degree program Juris Doctor (JD).
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Westlaw is required.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft (Excel and Teams) and Canlii will be considered an asset.
- Success in this position requires excellent organizational and communication skills; good people skills; strong research and problem-solving skills, focus on attention to detail; the ability to work well both independently and in a team.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2024.
- If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).
