Corporate Controller

We are looking for a qualified Controller to join our team.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the controller will lead the accounting team and monitor the company’s financial health by maintaining, managing and analyzing financial statements, payroll, budgets, tax compliance issues, and more.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the overall accounting functions of the company
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff

Skills / Attributes

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficient in using accounting software (Quickbooks)
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation
- Solid understanding of budgeting and financial forecasting
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
