Reports to – Director, Finance

Job type – Full-time; Average working hours is 40 hours/week

Quorum is looking to hire a Corporate Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance department the Corporate Financial Analyst whose responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, budgeting analysis, forecasting and financial reporting.
The Corporate Financial Analyst will be guided in actions by solid business instincts, strong ethics and sound business judgment that come from experience. Able to quickly establish and maintain cooperative and productive working relationships within the department and at all levels of the organization, the successful candidate will bring sound technical accounting and finance skills to this role. This Corporate Financial Analyst will reliably deal with conflicting priorities, roadblocks, and exhibit superior problem-solving skills.
Here is what we will expect from you at work:

  • Complete month end procedures to ensure all accounting entries posted properly, includes preparing working papers for General Ledgers accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain continuity schedules for balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare various analyses for revenue and expenses and explain any variances.
  • Review and assure all monthly revenue are completed and accurately recorded.
  • Ensure Compliance with Sales Taxes, includes reporting and filing.
  • Prepare monthly data reports for outside vendors and/or customers.
  • Assist Director of Finance with the creation of new processes to increase efficiency in recording and reporting business activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional accounting designation considered an asset.
  • 3-5 years relevant and progressive work experience in financial and/or cost accounting.
  • A talent for efficiently handling tight deadlines.
  • Experience combining data from multiple sources.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills; detail oriented and highly accurate.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
