Responsibilities


Coordinates the marketing campaigns and initiatives. Coordinates and supports in planning marketing campaigns and initiatives. Plans and organizes special events, information displays and photo shoots. Monitors the advertising reserve space on the transit system and ensures correct use. Conducts quality assurance checks of content and graphics and resolves related issues. Coordinates enterprise reports and publications, including but not limited to the Accountability Report, Transit Service Performance Review and others. Trains staff as and when needed by developing training material and presenting workshops in a classroom or individually in a one-on-one situation.

Qualifications


EDUCATION:


Requires Grade 12 graduation plus successful completion of a one-year full time post-secondary marketing certificate.


EXPERIENCE:


Requires two (2) years of experience in marketing and communications roles, in the development and production of marketing materials, assisting in the planning of campaigns, and assisting in monitoring a marketing budget. A further period of up to six (6) months in the position is required to become familiar with TransLink and its subsidiaries’ business, culture, target markets, policies, procedures and standards. Print production experience would be considered an asset.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

Work Schedule


37.5 hours per week.

This is a temporary full-time position with an approximate end date of 12/31/2024.

Work Designation


Hybrid


This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.

Rate of Pay


Salary $5, 963 - $7,160 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).


The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan upon eligibility.
