We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Corporate Recruiter. The location is flexible for any metropolitan area applied operates in: Greater Vancouver Area (Delta), Calgary, Edmonton/Nisku, Greater Toronto Area (Downsview), Montreal, Quebec City and is also a remote work opportunity (see specifics below).
Position Summary:
Reporting to the VP - HR, the Corporate Recruiter will work with internal clients Canada-wide to source, recruit, and onboard key talent. As part of the Human Resources Team, the Recruiter will have the opportunity to influence our overall Talent Acquisition strategy and identify and explore continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
-Manage full-cycle recruitment for positions in all areas of the Canadian business (identifying sourcing strategies, screening, interviewing, offer stage, and onboarding), which includes evaluating candidates for core values and culture fit
-Partner with Hiring Managers and Human Resources to define position requirements and establish recruiting strategies
-Implement effective techniques for identify and source new talent
-Build talent pipelines and proactive strategies for areas of high-volume recruitment
-Manage full-cycle process within our Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Dashboards
-Develop and demonstrate a professional demeanor that promotes positive communication with all staff and creates successful working relationships with stakeholders
-Participate in Talent Acquisition projects as required
-Perform other duties, as required or assigned
 
Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications:
-2 or more years facilitating end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes, including strategically sourcing candidates is required
-Previous experience recruiting Trades talent in a Shop/Industrial environment is required
-University degree, diploma, or certificate in Human Resources, Business, or related would be an asset
-Bilingualism (English & French) would be an asset 
-Proven track record of strategically sourcing candidates (using platforms such as LinkedIn, Resume Databases, Social Media, etc)
-Flexible and capable of working in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple recruiting projects simultaneously
-Innovative, proactive mindset with a focus on continuously improving processes and the way we do things
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
-Effective attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy with ability to take the lead on daily recruitment activities with minimal supervision
-Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills
-Preference for experience using SAP Success Factors Recruitment and Onboarding platforms (or equivalent technology), although not required
-Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products

-Self-directed, with ability to work successfully both independently and within a team environment
-Position has opportunity to be based in an AIT Canada location or work fully remotely or in a hybrid structure. Physical location must be in one of the following major geographical areas: Greater Vancouver Area (Delta), Calgary, Edmonton/Nisku, Greater Toronto Area (Downsview), Montreal, Quebec City
-Flexibility to travel Canada-wide, dependent on business needs
