Corporate Sandwich Cook
Edge Catering is an established, thriving corporate and event catering company. Our custom-built facility is located in the East Village and features a Café, 5000sq ft. catering kitchen, baking and pastry kitchen, tasting room and offices.
We are looking for an experienced catering cook to join our team.
General Responsibilities:
- Prep and package daily order for corporate and special events
- Able to work with a team of 3 - 4 teammates
- Follow detailed worksheet orders
- Make allergy specific item to customers needs
- Integrate with our team and work environment
- Follow all recipes and standards
- Write and follow prep lists
- Organize and maintain freezers, fridges and storage
- Maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work spaces
Requirements:
- 2 years experience as a cook or in food service
- FoodSafe level 1
- Legal to work in Canada (minimum 2 years on work permit)
We are currently hiring for full time and part time positions. Full time schedule is usually Monday-Friday with 6-7 am start times depending on volume. Weekend and part-time days may vary depending on business.
