Full-time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
Full-time FTE will combine the following courses:
Cosmetology
Other (dependent on the successful candidates' strengths/qualifications)
Duties will commence on August 28, 2024, and continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in the Cosmetology field, a commitment to excellence in education, and the ability to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
Passion for education and commitment to student success.
Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills
Assessment literate
Ability to utilize varied instructional strategies to meet a wide range of individual needs
Strong planning and organizational skills
Strong classroom management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
Commitment to ongoing professional growth
An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset
Ability to teach in a flexible learning environment.
