Counter Help (Part Time) at Dry Cleaners

We are looking for part-time/casual helper to manage the front counter.

Working hours:

• 2 to 3 days per week: Monday, Thursday and Friday
• 9:00am to 4:00pm
• $17/hr

Located at Queen St. East and Coxwell Ave.

QUALIFICATIONS

• experienced in customer service and sales
• good with computers to issue receipt/invoice for customers
• knowledgeable with POS system and cash register
• basic knowledge and understanding of clothing and different fabrics
• organized, reliable, and punctual
• ability to remain professional when faced with challenges
• able to work independently with minimal supervision
• quick learner, self motivated, and proactive with completing tasks
• strong problem solving skills
• Cantonese speaking is an asset but not required (to effectively communicate with in-store seamstress)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• open and close store
• greet customers, intake and package clothing orders
• accept, tag, and input new orders in computer system
• effectively communicate with customers and in-store seamstress for alterations
• quality assurance when packaging finished orders (iron touch-ups, de-balling, steam)
• maintain cleanliness of front counter

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 21 per week
