MONASABA brings together the flavours and hospitality of Yemeni culture in its own unique way, offering traditional dishes and heartfelt service to our guests.

CSP’s act as the guide through the guest’s experience ensuring each guest receives quality service and dedication while assisting them through menu selection, their beverage choices and payment processing. CSP’s are encouraged to engage with guests in conversation as well as live by the brand values by being playfully outgoing and invoking a positive spirit into their daily actions.

Role of a CSP

• Be enthusiastic, energetic and demonstrate a genuine positive demeanor throughout the shift
• Be professional and hospitable while promoting the Monasaba brand
• Ensure every guest receives the Monasaba Experience and leaves eager to return
• Possess a sincere attitude to be of service to others with a desire to succeed

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of all Monasaba offerings including all products, menu’s, schedules and promotions
• In-depth knowledge of flavor profiles, descriptors, benefits and complimentary flavours.
• Take orders, handle food and beverage inquiries, sales of daily features and menu add-ons, handles prepared food and beverage orders
• Follow all company recipes for food and beverage preparation
• Handling guest concerns with and without the support of the management team.
• Clearing, cleaning and restocking of all side stations and food and beverage stations
• Processing bills and taking payment
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant including.
• Identify and complete general tasks and duties within the restaurant as needed including but not limited to; sweeping floors, mopping floors, vacuuming floors and benches, cleaning windows, sanitizing washrooms, refilling sanitary supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc

Job Requirements:

• Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a high-paced environment
• Minimum of 1-year related Guest Service experience
• Fluency in English both written and verbal
• Experience with a point of sale system
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 25lbs

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
