COUNTERBALANCE PROPANE OPERATOR (Transportation Operator)

We are looking for FORKLIFT OPERATOR (Transportation Operator) for our Brampton location. Must have tow motor/counter balance license (Propane). Working shifts (steady shift) : 3:00am-11:00am, Monday – Friday. Start rate from $26.48, 3 months $27.79, 6 months $28.96.

Job Responsibilities:

• Abide by all plant rules, safety rules and regulations of the Company
• Responsible for the safe and efficient

• loading and unloading of trailers
• Put away and storage of finished products

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the offsite warehouse operation at 1 Woodslea
• Follows food safety protocols and ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Reports safety hazards or production/quality issues immediately to the department Manager
• Maintains an organized and clean work environment including completion of cleaning checklist according to prescribed frequency and accurately complete the cell checklist daily
• Re-pile and rework returns and finished goods and stretch wrap product as necessary
• Operates floor scrubber in order to maintain a clean work area
• Maintain housekeeping standards in entire warehouse and perform custodial duties as required
• Holds valid Forklift certificate
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have good performance record in current position
• Must have good attendance in current position
• Ability to act independently with little direction and suggest continuous improvement initiatives
• Works within the parameters of Company policies and procedures
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and performing other duties as assigned

Education:

Minimum Grade 10

Basic Math

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

Must have tow motor/counter balance experience (Propane)
