JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Contribute to the economic development of CPD Canada by advising General Management and the Division Finance Director on all Commercial related topics and Product Control topics
  • Direct and manage the process of drawing up the Budget and Trends in relation with Commercial activities and upto Gross Margin
  • Participate in the setting of economic objectives and make the necessary trade-offs to ensure balance between the various perimeters
  • Leverage financial data and analysis to drive strategic decision-making and optimize the financial performance of the CPD commercial operations. Carry out all analyses required to measure the Commercial economic performance, and take the appropriate measures to achieve objectives. 
  • Carry out all economic analysis to detect risks and opportunities.
  • Implement processes, Group systems and procedures to ensure the consistency, relevance and reliability of management information and financial flows in line with Group Standards.
  • Support General Management of the Division in defining a Commercial Sales Policy in line with the Group’s Internal Control norms
  • Own the process of CA Estim for the Division by working closely with Commercial Director to understand the monthly sales landing.
  • Ensuring Commercial Contracts are drawn up for all key customers in line with the Group’s Internal Control norms and supporting Commercial teams through negotiations.
  • Leading a Commercial Finance team which ensures all allowances paid to customers are in line with the Sales policy and/or Commercial Contracts to ensure full compliance of internal controls. 
  • Play a key part in validating the valorisation of the sales forecast process of the Division and advising General Management on opportunities/Risks
  • Understanding the stock in trade equation for the Division and by customer to help identify and plan
  • Preparing commentaries and reports on Net Sales to Gross Margin for review by the General Management and the North America Zone
  • Responsible for understanding all movements in the Division’s Gross Margin and suggesting proposals to ensure it moves in the right directions.
