Job description

Our client is a leading Manufacturing Company located on the South Shore. They are looking for a Credit and Collection Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Receivable department and be responsible for the review and implementation of best practices in managing and controlling A/R processing.

About the Opportunity
  • Supervise and support the Accounts Receivable team in resolving issues and ensuring workload is completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Provide new hire orientation and training to new staff
  • Working with management to develop and implement best practice policies and procedures to ensure that any transaction in receivables is validated
  • Acting as a mentor for the Credit and Collection team
  • Maintaining good communication with customers and external, internal and branch sales
  • Ad hoc projects; and any other tasks assigned by management
About You
  • 5+ years of experience in Credit & Collections and 3+ years experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • General understanding of computerized accounting systems
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
  • Bilingual, effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Plus de 5 ans d'expérience dans le domaine du crédit et de la collection et plus de 3 ans d'expérience dans un rôle de direction ou de supervision.
  • Connaissance dans l'industrie de la construction
  • Compréhension générale des systèmes comptables informatisés.
  • Haut niveau de pensée critique et logique, être un agent de changement.
  • Bilingue, aptitude à communiquer efficacement avec des personnes de tous les niveaux de l'organisation.
