Your Role
As a Credit Intern, reporting to the Credit Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for balancing and posting transactions to our third-party financing portals, assisting the Credit department in pulling credit reports for Merchandising account reviews, reviewing data, and analyzing financial statements.Day to Day
- Processing payments/credits through third party credit providers.
- Ensure payment and credit reports balance.
- Pulling credit information from credit reporting agencies.
- Analyzing credit information and financial statements.
- Updating accounts with approved credit or approved renewals.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program with a focus on business, accounting and/or finance.
- Previous experience working in an office environment.
- Ability to work independently, as well as contribute to a team.
- Available to work some evenings and weekends during May and June.
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Application Suite (Word, Excel).
