Crematorium Operator

We have an excellent opportunity for a Crematorium Operator (no experience necessary)! While this position would start initially as a Crematorium Operator, the advancement would be to Apprentice Funeral Director.

The Opportunity:

The Crematorium Operator / Apprentice Funeral Director position requires a high level of compassion and a caring individual who enjoys helping others.

We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, who enjoy working with and helping people. The ideal candidate will be very organized, have a high sense of urgency, the ability to multitask with a pleasant demeanor. Must be proficient in English both spoken and verbal (other languages an asset) and be able to perform physical requirements of the job.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

· Be dedicated, caring and service driven

· Be an excellent communicator and team player

· Hold themselves to a high standard of service

· Basic computer skills (typing information, printing labels)

· Strong attention to details

· Valid driver’s license and vehicle to get to/from work

· Job is physically demanding

· Able to work the occasional weekend and overtime as required

· Full-Time (40 hours) Thursday to Sunday (4 days) – 8:30 am – 7:00 pm (10 hour days)
