Key Responsibilities:   

The Human Resources department at Citibank Canada is committed to providing best in class human capital management in support of our business strategy.  Reporting to the Country Human Resources Officer, the CSC HR Site Leadwill have responsibility in the following areas:

  • Partner with CSC Site President & Deputy Site President on strategic programs and projects, outside of cyclical processes, related to Human Capital goals for the CSC site and translate business priorities and goals into actions for HR Partners in functional disciplines.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with HR risk, control and governance activities at the CSC.
  • Identify and escalate to CHRO, and other in-country control functions, on key HR risk and compliance breaches in country as well as emerging risks.
  • Provide on the ground CSC support across all HR disciplines, facilitating connectivity with all relevant disciplines as necessary.
  • With ultimate oversight from the CHRO, keep the Citi Canada Technology Board of Directors abreast on all HR related matters that impact the CSC related to risk, governance, and regulatory compliance.  This includes preparation of presentation materials, deliver content and accountable for follow up on actions to the Board members. 
  • Ensure all employer-employee relationships in the organization comply with individual employment contracts, regulations, laws, and the organization's employment policies and standards.
  • Recommend DEI interventions based on trends identified in attrition, hiring, promotion rates, and representation across talent levels and demographic groups, to ensure compliance with Canada legislation and Citi Diversity Strategy.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Human Resources related fields.
  • Bachelor’s/University degree.
  • Requires strong collaboration and communication skills to ensure HR decisions and issues are escalated with stakeholders duly advised and consulted.
  • Ability to influence and operate in a highly complex interaction model with cross business/cross functional partners in NAM and other geographies. 
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Agile learner with capacity to anticipate and proactively address challenges.
  • Positive relationship management, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
