SalaryThe Cultivation Technician will perform all tasks related to the cultivation of cannabis.
This role is critical to maintaining a high quality, super-premium product through close monitoring of the plants throughout the lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Perform tasks related to the cultivation of cannabis, including
o Clone runs
o Transplanting
o Irrigation / Fertilizing
o Crop Work
o Harvesting
- Ensure plant health and communicate any issues to the Senior Manager, Cultivation
- Keep a clean and safe cultivation area
- Follow all regulations as required
- Other duties as assigned by the Cultivation Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements
- Horticultural, or similar technical certification preferred
- Prior agricultural experience is an asset, as well as working in Cannabis previously
- Excellent communication skills
- This role has physical demands such as reaching, bending and also performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for extended periods.
- Ability to lift equipment or plants up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging environment.
- Ability to communicate in spoken Spanish an asset
- Organized and maintains a clean work environment.
