POSITION DETAILS
- 20 hours per week to start, with the opportunity to grow into fulltime for the right candidate
- Mon - Fri primarily afternoon hours
- Starting wage: $14.50/hr
ABOUT US
We are a handmade home decor and personalized gift company located in Moose Jaw, SK serving our local community, online customers, and over 150 stores across Canada and the US. We specialize in personalized gifts and seasonal decor. We are currently a team of three fulltime members, and are looking for someone great to join us!
YOUR ROLE
This role will be primarily assisting with online Customer Service, preparation of daily parcel shipment, maintaining cleanliness of the workspace, posting on social media, and assisting with assembly of handmade products. However, as a small team, the ability to assist wherever needed is a requirement. Your tasks will include (but wont be limited to):
- Providing Customer Service to online and in-person shoppers
- Assisting in the creation of social media content and email marketing
- Using a laser and the latest print technology to make products and complete orders by shipping deadlines
- Using power tools to aid in material prep
- Assisting with inventory management and participating in product-planning sessions
- Adding key rings, tassels, or other hardware to products
- Inspecting for flaws or imperfections
- Packaging products
- Packing orders and generating shipping labels
- General cleaning of production and retail areas
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- No prior experience is necessary and all training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Ability/willingness to complete repetitive tasks
- Basic computer skills (any experience with Adobe software such as Illustrator or Photoshop is a definite asset, but not required)
- Ability to efficiently manage time, organize priorities, and work with minimal supervision
