Signature Supplements Inc. is actively seeking a talented Customer Service Specialistto adeptly manage customer relationships and play a key role in our company's development, innovation, and marketing activities. The ideal candidate has a naturopathic and/or supplement background, bringing both knowledge and passion for the health and wellness of others. As the successful candidate, you will be highly organized with exceptional communication skills and a tremendous attention to detail in a fast-paced working environment.

Responsibilities:

Account Management & Customer Service Team:

  • Input and verify sales orders in QuickBooks, handling exceptions and special notes with accuracy.
  • Prepare and verify custom formula estimates.
  • Prepare order forms for customers, addressing their individual needs.
  • Educate existing customers on Signature policies and promptly handle more complex inquiries.
  • Proactively manage backordered products, creating and following up on their status.
  • Efficiently handle emails and phone calls, providing timely and insightful responses.
  • Equip customers with resources like datasheets to answer product-related questions.
  • Assist the Customer Service Team during high-demand periods or staff shortages.

Customer Relationships Management:

  • Spearhead the onboarding process for new customers, guiding them through Signature's introduction, website navigation, and agreements.
  • Facilitate account setup for new customers.
  • Collaborate on implementing a VIP customer program with discount tiers, evaluating customer discounts based on purchasing volumes.
  • Generate customer sales reports, offering valuable insights and recommendations for account growth.
  • Assess ordering frequency and volumes to forecast customer needs.
  • Collaborate on acquiring new accounts, contributing to strategic approaches.

Product Development and Innovation:

  • Knowledgeable on industry trends.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, including data sheets, newsletters, and social media content.
  • Participate in sponsorship programs and tradeshows to enhance brand visibility.
  • Engage in marketing strategy discussions and actively contribute to executing initiatives.

Requirements/Attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Well-organized with high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience would be an asset, as well as experience with Quickbooks.
  • A background in Naturopathic Medicine or Natural Nutrition, with knowledge about natural health products and supplements would be considered a tremendous asset.
  • Excellent collaboration, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions.

This is a full time (40 hours/week) permanent opportunity with two (2) weeks’ vacation per year along with comprehensive employee benefits including personal days, medical coverage, and a Group Savings Plan.
