Job description

The Opportunity

Responsible for providing exemplary front line customer service.

The Role

Customer Support

  • Work closely with branch personnel and customer to ensure transparency of all customer interactions and order/quote statue
  • Ensure customer is directed and connected to the right person on the 1st call/inquiry,
  • Qualifies inquiries and forwarding to correct expert based on customer requirements
  • Develop and administer techniques and structure to provide quick and effective responses
  • Works with customers email, phone, SMS or other channels of choice in a timely and courteous manner; delivers strong service and salesmanship
  • Maintain confidential client information utilizing Wajax’s CRM software.

Customer Expertise/Advise

  • Manages Customer Satisfaction with all existing customers by delivering the utmost in customer service.
  • Provide technical and product advise for all customer and branch inquiries
  • Provide technical information regarding product selection and is viewed as a solutions provider.
  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and pricing information •
  • Develop proposals and quotes based upon client needs, specifications and product offerings.
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sales items
  • Responsible for processing parts orders for internal and external customers, including quoting, order entry, expediting and order follow up
  • Support with preparation of customer presentations, tenders, RFQs and Project Quotations, as required

Education: College diploma or university degree or relevant Trade Designation

Work Experience 3-5 years related experience in Inside Sales/Order desk. Previous experience in heavy duty parts.

Knowledge: Superior knowledge in bearings, mechanical Power Transmission, process pumps and/or hydraulic components. Experience working with parts vendors, outsourcing and generating parts quotes.
