Job Summary

Shift Details

  • Training: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • Regular Shift: Monday to Friday, shift to be determined
  • Must be flexible for shift coverage (if required)
  • Must be able to work statutory holidays (if required)

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely data entry into customs entry system
  • Review and process shipment data from documents and other sources
  • Verify invoices, manifests, and supporting docs meet CBSA standards
  • Obtain customs documentation like CUSMA or commercial invoices by contacting vendors/clients when needed
  • Provide customer service as required
  • Respond to calls, emails, and faxes from clients
  • Assist Raters with problems or backlogs when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to make recommendations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with coworkers, other departments, and clients
  • Proficient data entry skills
  • Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Good analytical, clerical, and organizational skills
  • Motivated to learn and adapt to new assignments
  • Ability to work independently under pressure

Education/Experience

  • Secondary school or related equivalent
  • Two year general customs brokerage experience (required)
  • CCS designate (not required)
