We are currently hiring a Dairy Processor to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and clean automated processing and packaging equipment
- Connect fittings, pipes and equipment to configure processing set ups
- Pack and assemble pallets of finished product
- Complete work orders and requests in a timely fashion
- Mark, record and report defects
- Operate pallet moving equipment, including forklifts
- Clean and perform CIP and preparation of work-site
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, such as lubricating, cleaning, and maintaining machinery and notifying maintenance staff of needed repairs to machinery, equipment, and tools
- Operate, read and maintain all quality control and food safety devices and procedures
- Adhere to all safety policies and standard operating procedures
Qualifications:
- Licensed Dairy Processor
- Previous experience in Dairy production, pasteurization and manufacturing
- Familiarity with manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures
- Knowledge of First Aid and CPR an asset
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Effective English verbal and listening communications skills
- Commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Salary: Based on experience
Experience:
Dairy Processing and Manufacturing: 1 year minimum
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $28.68 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
