Nella Cutlery was established in 1952 as a small family business and has since grown to become a leading organization that caters to the food services industry through the expansive number of services and retail products we provide. From our roots as a family business, we are known today as Nella Cutlery and Food Equipment Inc. We import, manufacture and distribute a full line of brand name, professional food equipment to our clients throughout the hospitality industry, which range from restaurants, hotels, institutional kitchens, supermarkets, bakeries, etc. Along with the thousands of kitchen items we supply at our retail store and showroom, we also specialize in custom fabrication, professional installations and knife sharpening services.
The Data Entry Coordinator (product data) is the gatekeeper of all product
information maintaining back-end and front-end health across our product systems
and touchpoints.
Duties and Responsibilities
Product catalogue management
● Manage creation and ongoing maintenance of products i.e. product
descriptions, technical data, product imagery and other attributes
● Data entry such as product dimensions, and weights etc.
● Work closely with our data team & SEO team to enforce data integrity and
manage health of product information
● Audit our website to ensure that product information is properly displayed and
presented (menu links, product information, filters etc.) with customer in mind
always
● Manage SKU relationship: Variants, upsell and cross sell initiative across
product catalogue, swatches and product customer reviews
Own Online Product Launch Process
● Coordinate inputs required to successfully launch a product
● Proactively communicate any shifts to product launch schedule with key
stakeholders (marketing, eComm, product)
Support Marketing & Ecomm Initiatives
● Collaborate with the marketing team for product updates to ensure campaign
success across channels (Paid, email, social)
● Support merchandising and content management across the site
● Gather competitor analysis to identify trends and potential opportunities to
elevate our product online
Qualifications & Requirements:
● Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in digital merchandising, eCommerce
site operations, or site publishing
● Detail oriented self-starter with strong organization skills
● Ability to manage multiple projects and change priorities effectively
● Resourceful with the ability to solve problems, even when they are not fully
defined
● Strong Excel Skills is a requirement
● Experience in Shopify an asset
● Proven track record of ability to effectively communicate across internal and
external teams.
● Keen to take on new opportunities and challenges, with a passion to continue
to develop and grow
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
