Role Overview

In this role you will be designing and developing code in Data GovernanceAzure Purview and enabling reading integrations with tools such as Jira, collaborate with customers, Business Analysts and Data Architects to assist and translate business requirements to technical solutions.

What You will do

  • Work with Microsoft Azure Data Platform, specifically Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory ADLS storage account.
  • implementing CI/CD pipeline on GitHub, Jenkins JGP.
  • Work on Structured and Semi-Structured datasets.
  • Use collaboration tools (eg. MS Teams Skype, Confluence, JIRA); ability to own and implement an initiative end to end initiatives.

What you bring to the role

  • At least 10 years of professional experience working as Data Engineer with focus on Data Governance (Azure Purview) and enabling/creating integrations with tools such as Jira.
  • Experienced in creating data pipelines & developing complex and optimized queries.
  • Experienced in any of the following programming/scripting languages (SQL, Python, pyspark) Knowledgeable in any of the following tools: Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView QlikSense.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to delivering excellent service, balanced with appropriate risk management. Monitor, validate, and drive continuous improvement to methods, and propose enhancements to data sources that improve usability and results.
