Data Quality Assurance Analyst

Voronoi Health Analytics Incorporated is seeking Data Quality Assurance Specialist (REMOTE) contract positions. The position is an entry-level position in the area of medical image analysis and data labeling. It contributes directly to automated methods for obtaining image-derived metrics to accelerate medical imaging toward personalized care and precision medicine applications to improve the delivery of care to patients around the world.

This position is ideally geared toward individuals with life sciences, kinesiology or biomedical physiology backgrounds and presents a unique and exciting opportunity to learn about the field of artificial intelligence in medical imaging. The role focuses on labeling and handling medical image data to build ground-truth data sets for training machine-learning algorithms.

Responsibilities:

Data labeling and quality control

• Examine medical images to assess and report on prediction quality
• Use anatomical knowledge to analyze and correct inaccurate medical image segmentations
• Recognize and flag problematic data and provide feedback on Data Quality to respective team members

Interaction with in-house medical image segmentation and project management software

• Daily progress tracking of jobs
• Use various medical image processing tools related Data Quality Assurance

Communicating and working in a team environment

• Work with teammates and supervisors to troubleshoot and analyze issues
• Be in-sync with project managers
• Recognize deadlines and critical team scenarios

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills and a team-player spirit are a must
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interest in learning about health and technology
• Well developed work consistency and time management skills
• Good computer literacy is recommended
• Knowledge of human anatomy is recommended
• Previous course work relating to or experience working with medical images is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.75-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
