Data Subject Matter Expert

Adecco is actively seeking a proficient Data Subject Matter Expert to join our client’s team on a full-time basis. This role offers a distinctive chance to leverage your expertise within a prominent and well-established oil and gas company located in Calgary, AB. The primary objective of this position is to ensure the seamless conversion of material master data to SAP S/4 HANA from source systems, guaranteeing that the converted data facilitates processes in SAP S/4 HANA and associated applications. This challenging opportunity is ideally suited for individuals who thrive in collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic environments.

·       Location: Calgary, AB| Hybrid | 4 days in-office, 1-day WFH

·       Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 hours / day

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Complete conversion design with an emphasis on automation, including, but not limited to extraction, transformation, load, and validations

·       Drive & coordinate data readiness activities including development and execution of a plan for profiling, deduplication, cleansing, and enrichment

·       Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor progress of data readiness deliverables

·       Conduct & participate in data conversion design workshops

·       Participate in mock & cutover activities

·       Develop conversion documentation that adhere to SOX/audit control expectations

·       Develop data domain standards & standard operating procedures that govern material master data

·       Work with cross functional partners within and outside of the direct scope of the program.

Requirements and Qualifications: 

·       Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

·       Post-secondary degree in a related discipline.

·       8+ years of relevant experience

·       Understanding of S/4 HANA source-to-pay processes with a focus on materials management and materials requirement planning (MRP)

·       Knowledge of integrations between S/4 HANA material masters and ATR (acquire-to-retire) processes

Nice to have:

·       Experience in the Oil & Gas/Energy industry

·       Understanding of Quality Management in S/4 HANA

·       Familiarity with extended Warehouse Management (eWM) in S/4 HANA

·       Experience in master data governance

·       Familiarity with Syniti ADMM and Maximo
