Form of workAdecco is currently in search of a dedicated Data Warehouse Project Manager for a long-term contract opportunity with a reputable integrated oil and natural gas company in Calgary, AB. In this crucial role, you will leverage your domain knowledge and project management skills to coordinate resources, project timelines, and schedules, providing project status reports to the Sponsor and Steering Committee. The ideal candidate possesses experience in effectively coordinating a diverse team of business, functional, and/or IT staff, contractors, and/or system integrators throughout the project delivery lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead complex transformation projects and/or business process/continuous improvement projects
Collaborate and influence large stakeholder groups from various functions and business
Carry out effective communication with CPMO or business leadership team
Manage and motivate a diverse team composition
Define project scope, objectives and deliverables that support the business goals in collaboration with clients, teams and stakeholders
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using the Corporate Project Management Office (CPMO) Delivery Execution Framework, tools and processes
Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring corrective action is taken when necessary, to improve project performance
Effective risk management to resolve issues/conflicts that may arise within the project
Track project achievements and results, ensuring corrective action is taken, when vital, to improve project performance
Lead all aspects of the day-to-day activities of the project/program team direct and indirect reports to ensure project/program results are completed accurately, on time and to the required quality assurance standards
Identify, document, track and communicate project/program risks/issues, and assist in resolution or mitigation
Identify possible skill gaps within the team and implement ways for performance improvements
Partner with Corporate Change Management to design and implement the appropriate OCM/Business Readiness strategy/plan for the project
Ensure projects are being delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Requirements and Qualifications:
At least 10 years of progressive professional experience as a Project Manager or in a similar capacity
Experience in migrating legacy Data warehouse(s) to a different single platform
Manage deliverables and relationships to ensure project success
Understanding of Data Modeling, Data Integration, and Security and Compliance
Ability to lead a diverse team
Implement and manage quality control processes and ensure alignment with Data Governance Practices
Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
